ABOUT THE COURSE
This Certificate program educates and trains those who work in the sustainability sector with applicable knowledge and techniques to operate, develop and maintain zero net carbon energy buildings and their sustainability initiatives.
The course does not get into the “heavy engineering and technical” details of the subject matter. Instead, it is designed to provide practical, real-world skills needed in today's sustainable working environment and organizational goal objectives. It provides a base foundation needed for professionals to work with other team members whether that be a supporting position, leadership position, or sustainable championing position. Everyone, including staff and senior management, needs a thorough understanding of the various solutions to work with others in their organization to meet sustainability goals and benchmarks. Gain that extra advantage in your personal career path and excel in your organization as you work with team members and apply the knowledge you receive by attending this Fundamentals of Sustainability program.
Sustainability transformation is on every CEO’s agenda, but many organizations lack a sense of urgency in their implementation and are struggling to meet these ambitious and complex goals. This course will assist all levels of operations in a company to better understand what sustainability is, how it is developed and strategically implemented, and some of the many things every individual can do to incorporate a sustainability mindset within the organization.
The final exam will consist of 50 question quiz. You must receive a 70% passing rate to receive your certificate. You may take the quiz more than once.
