Energy and the Utility Bill teaches facility professionals to open a bill from different states, breakdown the buckets of charges, and learn how to name and understand every charge on it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eWe will work with electric, gas, steam and chilled water bills from six states, a competitive supplier invoice, and a published tariff. Attendees will learn the five kinds of charge every bill is built from, so regional name differences for the same type of charge stop being a barrier. The class then takes apart demand charges and ratchets, contract capacity, riders, block rates, and the taxes folded into the rates. At first this may sound confusing but the goal of the training is to break down these terms into easy understandable line items.
